Harry knew how busy his father was with work, but it didn’t stop him from wanting his attention. Sometimes when Norman was in his office at home, Harry would quietly push open the door and pad across the room, sitting crosslegged on the floor by his father’s office chair. He’d lean his head against the arm of the chair, and patiently wait. Often, he was rewarded with fingers stroking through his hair, Norman petting and gently tugging his son’s curls fondly with his free hand as he talked on the phone. Harry would sigh softly, and lean into his touch.
