Otto woke in the middle of the night and pressed himself to Norman’s body, curling his stomach and chest around the other man’s bony back and shoulders. Only the slim band of Otto’s metal harness broke the contact of their skin.

He wound his fingers softly through the short, greying locks of Norman’s ginger hair, and as Otto tried to push the dream from his mind he considered waking him up. 

But seeing Norman sleeping so peacefully; that was as precious and rare as his own good night’s sleep.

Otto kissed the back of Norman’s neck, and closed his eyes.
