Summary:

Desire ponders losing their Dream.

Once, long ago, Dream had deigned to cradle Desire in his arms, holding them softly in the infinite expanse of stars. Desire didn’t understand what had happened. Why Dream rejected them so, why Dream had pushed his Desire away. 

In truth Desire didn’t care about why, but the mere fact of it cut them like a knife; a knife who’s sting they would share with the one who had turned it on them.

Desire would force Dream to feel that sting of rejection, cut him with it until he came crawling back to them, and finally they were united again.
