The idea that they were kismeses was a comfortable lie; a lie that neither of them spoke of. 

Vriska reflected on that fact as she lay on top of her lover’s chest, the both of them dozing on the ship after a long day’s work of appeasing her lusus, and his bloodlust.

Eridan had never hurt her. She didn’t even know if he was capable of it.The were more like partners than anything else. Vriska felt more threatened by Terezi than she did by Eridan.

She leaned up to kiss his sleepy lips and wished she could hate him.
