The relationship between Marc and Steven is complicated, but affectionate.
Their relationship was unusual to say the least.
Complicated, certainly.
Sharing a body made everything an added challenge, especially showing their affection for one another.
Marc couldn’t kiss Steven even if he wanted to.
Instead he slowly brushed this thumb over their shared lips, first one way, then the other. The gesture, one of the few times Marc showed softness, never failed to draw a little sigh of happiness from Steven.
As they lay in bed, Steven would wrap his arms around a pillow, and think of Marc beside him.
At least no matter what happened, they had each other.
