Sometimes I’m drawn to a terrible thing,
Somebody cruel and cold.
I need a liar to whisper to me
Sweet black deceit.
The stalker who haunts me;
My dreams and my fears.
Pale, moonlight fingers, so long and smooth;
Two colorless eyes
Tricking my senses to steal affection.
Silver tongued voice compels me to believe
Sibilant whispers of lily-white lies
And secrets of darkling delight.
Sometimes I love him, my darkness, my fiend;
I need his lovely disgrace.
