Summary:
Leon finds Luis alive.
When Leon found Luis at the mission site he hardly recognized him. Luis’ gorgeous hair was matted, his eyes were unfocused, his clothing was torn. There was something insectoid about his movements.
Choking back grief, Leon had his gun aimed. Until Luis spoke.
“Leon?” His voice was hoarse and ragged.
Leon nearly dropped his gun.
He smuggled Luis home without telling his superiors, hiding the man in his apartment. He helped him bathe, brushed his hair, and contacted Doctor Chambers in secret.
“We’ll fix this,” he promised, stroking Luis’ cheek. It would be a long road, but they’d get there.
