Otto and Norman really see one another again for the first time in years.
As Otto felt the blissful silence bloom through his mind, he slowly became aware of another sensation he had thought lost to him forever.
Norman was looking at him with– no other word for it– adoration.
Otto’s Norman had been dead for years.
Logically there was no reason to believe this Norman had had the same kind of relationship with him that they’d had in Otto’s universe.
Logically there were myriad possible worlds where they had not.
But that look told him all he needed.
It was all he could do not to pull Norman into his arms right there.
