Dave flushed hot as Rose threw herself over his lap, putting her arms around his neck. She rubbed her cheek against his.
“How’sh my davey-wavey?”
Dave felt his glasses fog up with steam.
“Oh I’m peachy, Rosie. And you’re sloshed.”
“Uhuh.” She grinned drunkenly at him, and arched up on his lap, pulling him into a sudden kiss.
Well, this was going to be awkward after she was sober. Maybe.
